HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 96

A RESOLUTION
To commend Miller's Funeral Home, Incorporated, upon the celebration of eighty years of
service.
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Miller, Sr., established Miller's Funeral Home,
Incorporated, in April of 1935; and
WHEREAS, for many years, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Miller worked hard to establish
their business while gaining the trust and confidence of citizens in Monroe, Louisiana; and
WHEREAS, in 1940, Mrs. Miller established Reliable Life Insurance Company to
assist people with funeral service costs; and
WHEREAS, the personal service of Miller Funeral Home, Incorporated, has led the
business to become a well-respected funeral home in Monroe; and
WHEREAS, Miller's Funeral Home, Incorporated, continues the outstanding
tradition of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Miller, Sr., as the business operates with professionalism
and concern for its customers.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Miller's Funeral Home, Incorporated, upon
the celebration of eighty years of service and does hereby extend best wishes to the business
for continued success in years to come.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Miller's Funeral Home, Incorporated.
