COMMENDATIONS: Commends the Elizabeth High School baseball team upon winning
the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class C state championship
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend the Elizabeth High School baseball team upon winning the Louisiana High
3 School Athletic Association Class C state championship on May 16, 2015.
4 WHEREAS, the Elizabeth High School baseball team completed a sensational 2015
5season when they earned the title of Class C baseball state champions after defeating
6Claiborne Christian High School by a score of 10-2; and
7 WHEREAS, the Elizabeth High School Bulldogs scored in every inning, except the
8second inning, of the thrilling championship game; and
9 WHEREAS, the members of the team performed at the highest levels of excellence
10throughout the season, and each of these intrepid Bulldogs deserves recognition for his vital
11contribution to the winning effort; and
12 WHEREAS, alumni and fans of Elizabeth High School recognize the immense pride
13and distinguished honor that the baseball team brings to its school, community, and state.
14 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
15Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the Elizabeth High School baseball team
16upon winning the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class C state championship
17on May 16, 2015, and does hereby extend best wishes to the athletes, coaches, and everyone
18involved with this fine baseball program as they celebrate their exceptional season and
19prepare for continued success in the future.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
21to the head coach of the Elizabeth High School baseball team.
