HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 99
BY REPRESENTATIVE HILL
A RESOLUTION
To commend the Elizabeth High School baseball team upon winning the Louisiana High
School Athletic Association Class C state championship on May 16, 2015.
WHEREAS, the Elizabeth High School baseball team completed a sensational 2015
season when they earned the title of Class C baseball state champions after defeating
Claiborne Christian High School by a score of 10-2; and
WHEREAS, the Elizabeth High School Bulldogs scored in every inning, except the
second inning, of the thrilling championship game; and
WHEREAS, the members of the team performed at the highest levels of excellence
throughout the season, and each of these intrepid Bulldogs deserves recognition for his vital
contribution to the winning effort; and
WHEREAS, alumni and fans of Elizabeth High School recognize the immense pride
and distinguished honor that the baseball team brings to its school, community, and state.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the Elizabeth High School baseball team
upon winning the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class C state championship
on May 16, 2015, and does hereby extend best wishes to the athletes, coaches, and everyone
involved with this fine baseball program as they celebrate their exceptional season and
prepare for continued success in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to the head coach of the Elizabeth High School baseball team.
