Relative to the Student Scholarships for Educational Excellence Program:
Present law provides that enrollment of scholarship recipients in a participating nonpublic school
that has been approved, provisionally approved, or probationally approved for less than two years
shall not exceed twenty percent of the school's total student enrollment.
Proposed law retains present law and additionally provides that enrollment of scholarship recipients
in an approved, provisionally approved, or probationally approved participating nonpublic school
that has been in operation in the state for less than two years shall not exceed 20% of total school
enrollment.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
