Present law defines the term "mileage one-way" as the distance the bus travels after picking up its
first child and until it reaches the final destination or school of said route or routes officially
designated by each school board.
Proposed law redefines "mileage one-way" to mean the distance the bus travels after picking up its
first authorized passenger and until it reaches the final destination or school of the route or routes
officially designated by each school board.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
