DIGEST SB 253 Original 2015 Regular Session Donahue Proposed law provides that each year prior to the presentation of the executive budget, the Senate Committee on Finance and the House Committee on Appropriations, with either committee convening a meeting separately or jointly, shall meet to receive from the commissioner of administration pertinent financial information used in the confection of the executive budget. Such information shall include pending budgetary and financial issues which could have a material fiscal impact on the continued delivery of current services and possible changes in means of financing. After the conclusion of such meetings, the committees shall transmit to the commissioner of administration a list of the significant fiscal concerns discussed during the meeting of the committees.
