The governing authority of the West Calcasieu Port may pay and its 11 members may receive a per diem, not to exceed one hundred dollars, for each day 12 the member is in attendance at a regular or special meeting of the board of 13 commissioners, not to exceed two meetings per month three hundred dollars, for 14 each day the member is in attendance at a regular meeting and a per diem not 15 to exceed two hundred dollars, for each day the member is in attendance at a 16 special meeting, of the board of commissioners, not to exceed two meetings per 17 month. Proposed law provides that governing authority of the West Calcasieu Port may pay and its members may receive a per diem, not to exceed $300, for each day the member is in attendance at a regular meeting and a per diem not to exceed $200, for each day the member is in attendance at a special meeting, of the board of commissioners, not to exceed two meetings per month.
