COMMERCIAL REGULATIONS.  Provides relative to exceptions from the issuance of
provisional licenses to ex-offenders in order to work in certain fields. (8/1/15)
1	AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 37:36(E)(1)(y) and (z), relative to provisional licenses for ex-offenders; to
3 provide for provisional licenses for certain occupations; to provide for exceptions;
4 and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  R.S. 37:36(E)(1)(y) and (z) are hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง36. Exemptions; prohibitions

9	E.(1) This Chapter shall not apply to the following licensing entities:

11	(y) The Louisiana Real Estate Commission.
12	(z) The Louisiana Real Estate Appraisers Board.

Present law provides for the provisional licensure of ex-offenders.
Present law provides exception from provisions of present law for certain state departments,
agencies, boards, commissions, or authorities. 
Proposed law retains present law and adds exemption for the La. Real Estate Commission
and the La. Real Estate Appraisers Board from the requirements of present law.
Effective August 1, 2015.
