RÉSUMÉ DIGEST Act 450 (SB 87) 2015 Regular Session Perry Prior law, relative to governmental ethics, restricted employment and other activities by former members of boards and commissions for a period of two years. New law provides an exception for a former member of the board of commissioners of the East Union Parish Hospital Service District or a legal entity owned by the former member from entering into a contract with or under the supervision or jurisdiction of the board of commissioners of the district or Union General Hospital or receiving compensation under the contract. New law is repealed effective July 1, 2017. Prior law required members of boards and commissions to annually file a financial disclosure statement to the Board of Ethics. Effective upon signature of the governor (July 1, 2015). (Adds R.S. 42:1121(I) and 1124.2.1(D)(1)(b)(vi); repeals R.S. 42:1121(I))
