SENATE CONCURRENT RESOL UTION NO. 108

COMMENDATIONS. Commends the Legislative Auditor's Office for winning the National
State Auditors Association's 2015 Excellence in Accountability Award in the Forensic
Report category.
1 A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
2 To commend the Legislative Auditor's Office for winning the National State Auditors
3 Association's 2015 Excellence in Accountability Award in the Forensic Report
4 category.
5 WHEREAS, the National State Auditors Association (NSAA) is the premier
6 association of elected and appointed state auditors in the United States; and
7 WHEREAS, NSAA seeks to provide opportunities for the free interchange of
8 information and ideas among state auditors and to foster improvement in state government
9 through promotion of the observance of professional auditing standards in the conduct of
10 audits of governmental organizations, programs, activities, and functions; and
11 WHEREAS, to look further at those objectives, NSAA holds an annual competition
12 to recognize some of the most innovative thinking in the current state government auditing
13 environment; and
14 WHEREAS, the Legislative Auditor's Office was the recipient of NSAA's 2015
15 Excellence in Accountability Award in the Forensic Report category.
16 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
17 commend Legislative Auditor Daryl G. Purpera and his staff for winning the 2015
18 Excellence in Accountability Award in the Forensic Report category.

1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
2 Legislative Auditor Daryl G. Purpera.
