REPRESENTATIVES ANDERS, BROWN, CHANEY, FANNIN,
HOFFMANN, HUNTER, JACKSON, JEFFERSON, JAY MORRIS,
PYLANT AND SHADOIN
COMMENDATIONS. Commends Charles "Charlie" Adams for being named as one of the
top ten 2014 pilots for Pilots for Patients.
1 A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
2 To commend Charles "Charlie" Adams for being named one of the top ten 2014 pilots for
3 Pilots for Patients.
4 WHEREAS, Pilots for Patients, based in Monroe, Louisiana, organizes pilots who
5 are willing to volunteer their time and money to fly patients in order to receive medial care;
6 and
7 WHEREAS, since its inception in 2007, Pilots for Patients has flown over twenty-
8 two hundred flights, free of charge to patients, and currently has a listing of one hundred five
9 volunteer pilots; and
10 WHEREAS, Charles "Charlie" Adams has been president of Adams Aircraft Repair,
11 Inc. since 1999 and Adams Flying Service, Inc. since 2008; and
12 WHEREAS, he has been a Pilots for Patients volunteer pilot since 2014 and has
13 flown twenty-eight missions.
14 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
15 commend Charles "Charlie" Adams for being named one of the top ten 2014 pilots for Pilots
16 for Patients.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
18 Charles "Charlie" Adams.
