SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 115
BY SENATOR HEITMEIER 
COMMENDATIONS.  Congratulates Amanda Scott Trapp on her earning a Master of
Public Administration from the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business.
1	A RESOLUTION
2 To commend and congratulate Amanda Scott Trapp on her earning a Master of Public
3 Administration from the Louisiana State University E. J. Ourso College of Business.
4 WHEREAS, it is with great pride that the citizens and the Senate of the Legislature
5 of Louisiana have learned of the extraordinary accomplishments of Amanda Trapp; and
6 WHEREAS, Amanda is a 2005 graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton,
7 Mississippi, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State
8 University in 2009; and 
9 WHEREAS, Amanda is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Alpha Alpha honor
10 societies; and
11 WHEREAS, in 2010, she was employed as a Social Services Analyst in the
12 Department of Children and Family Services, worked as a proofreader for the Louisiana
13 House of Representatives, and then as an executive assistant at Haynie and Associates; and 
14 WHEREAS, in 2012, Amanda joined the Louisiana Senate family as an operations
15 aide in the Administrative Services Division and currently serves as secretary to the Senate
16 Committee on Health and Welfare; and
17 WHEREAS, Amanda is an exemplary and highly admired citizen of Louisiana who
18 works tirelessly in a multitude of health, business, civic, political, and religious causes.

1 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
2 does hereby congratulate Amanda Scott Trapp upon earning a Master of Public
3 Administration from the Louisiana State University E. J. Ourso College of Business and
4 commends her for her many contributions to the Senate and the people of Louisiana.
5 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
6 Amanda Scott Trapp.
