2015 Regular Session ENROLLED SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 117 BY SENATOR MURRAY A RESOLUTION To express the sincere condolences of the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana upon the death of Wayne William Foley. WHEREAS, Wayne William Foley, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, died peacefully in his home on Saturday, May 9, 2015; and WHEREAS, Wayne William Foley was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on November 19, 1947, to the union of Edward Maxwell Foley and Marguerite Johnstone Foley, both of whom preceded him in death; and WHEREAS, Wayne William Foley leaves to cherish memories of him, his wife, Angela, daughter, Jennifer Foley Scaljon and her husband Michael, two grandchildren, Anna Grace and William Michael Scaljon III, twin brother, Daniel S. Foley, younger brother, Father Augustine Foley O.S.B., two sisters, Fabienne F. Cazale' and Glynis F. Davis and her husband, Charles; and WHEREAS, he is also survived by nephews and nieces, John B. Cazale' V, Erin F. Schuhmacher and her husband Collin, Kevin M. Cazale' and his wife Lindsey, Elizabeth F. Bucher and her husband Michael, Lauren M. Davis, Kelly N. Davis, Daniel S. Foley II, and Michael A. Foley; and WHEREAS, he is also survived by great-nephews and nieces, Blaize, Riley, Mary Keating, Alex and Lillian; and WHEREAS, Wayne William Foley attended St. Aloysious High School and Louisiana State University in New Orleans; and WHEREAS, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1974 and retired from the law firm of Baker, Boudreaux, Lamy, and Foley in December 2012; and WHEREAS, Wayne William Foley, because of his numerous accomplishments, will be forever remembered by the people whose paths he crossed for his integrity, dignity, courage, and the joy he left in the hearts of all who knew him. Page 1 of 2 SR NO. 117 ENROLLED THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana respectfully acknowledges with gratitude the outstanding service and many accomplishments of Wayne William Foley and does hereby express the sincere condolences to his family on the occasion of his death.
