SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 31

A RESOLUTION
To express the sincere condolences of the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana upon the
death of Mr. Rudolph "Bob" Narcisse Sr.
WHEREAS, the members of the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana have learned
with deep regret and sincere sorrow of the death of Rudolph "Bob" Narcisse Sr. on April 14,
2015; and
WHEREAS, Rudolph Narcisse was born in St. James Parish, to the late Anna and
Rudolph Narcisse; and
WHEREAS, Rudolph Narcisse was a native of St. James Parish, and a citizen of the
parish for all of the ninety years of his long and productive life; and
WHEREAS, he was married to Odeal Stewart-Narcisse and was the father of Gloria,
Bernadette, Larry, Calvin, Hilton, Vincent, Brenda, Debra, Juanita, Harriet, Jeannette, and
Rudolph Jr.; and
WHEREAS, he was preceded in death by two children, Jeannette (Chocolate) Warren
in 2012 and Rudolph Narcisse Jr. in 2014; and
WHEREAS, he is survived by his wife; children Gloria (Cleveland) Keller,
Bernadette, Larry (Linda), Calvin (Denise), Hilton (Sue Won), Vincent, Brenda (Tyrone)
Howard Sr., Debra (Melvin) Dumas, Juanita (Larry) Clarke Jr., and Harriet N. Zenon; and
a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends who will cherish
his memory as a caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, relative, and friend;
and
WHEREAS, the loss of Rudolph "Bob" Narcisse Sr. will long be felt by those who
knew him.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby express the condolences to the family of Mr. Rudolph "Bob" Narcisse Sr. upon
his death.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
family of Mr. Rudolph "Bob" Narcisse Sr.
