HOUSE BILL NO. 112
BY REPRESENTATIVE LEGER
APPROPRIATIONS/SUPPLEML:  Supplemental appropriations and reductions in
appropriations for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 (Item #1)
1	AN ACT
2To appropriate funds and to make and otherwise provide for certain reductions in
3 appropriations from certain sources to be allocated to designated agencies and
4 purposes in specific amounts for the making of supplemental appropriations and
5 reductions for said agencies and purposes for the 2015-2016 Fiscal Year; to provide
6 for an effective date; and to provide for related matters.
7Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
8 Section 1.A.  The commissioner of administration is authorized and directed to
9reduce the State General Fund by Fees and Self-generated Revenues appropriations
10contained in Act 16 of the 2015 Regular Session of the Legislature for the following
11agencies in the following amounts:

30 Section 2.  The state treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to transfer monies
31from the State General Fund by Fees and Self-generated Revenues from the Department of
32Veterans Affairs in the amount of $5,100,000 into the State General Fund (Direct). 
33 Section 3.  Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the state treasurer
34is hereby authorized and directed to transfer to the State General Fund (Direct) the amounts
35of any reduction in State General Fund by Fees and Self-generated Revenues, Statutory

1Dedications, or Interagency Transfers reduced as provided or recognized in this Act, by
2Executive Orders, and by the approval of the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget.
3The state treasurer shall make such transfers from each fund prior to fully funding the
4appropriation from the fund.
5 Section 3.  This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
6signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
7by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana.  If
8vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
9effective on the day following such approval.
