COMMENDATIONS:  Commends Wanda Fields upon her retirement from Minden
Presbyterian Church after forty-one years of service
1	A RESOLUTION
2To commend Wanda Fields upon her retirement from Minden Presbyterian Church.
3 WHEREAS, after forty-one years of service to Minden Presbyterian Church in
4Minden, Louisiana, Wanda Fields celebrates her retirement in 2016; and
5 WHEREAS, Ms. Fields has ably and consistently assisted seven pastors:  Rev. Jack
6Kennedy, Rev. Floyd Whatley, Rev. Lee Grisso, Rev. Bob Early, Rev. Don Brown,
7Rev. Gary Miller, Rev. Phil McLarty, and Rev. Tony Angell; and
8 WHEREAS, during her employment at Minden Presbyterian Church, Ms. Fields
9served as chief organizational officer, chief financial officer, publisher, and scheduler; she
10also worked as a liaison to other churches and agencies within the Minden community and
11state, and provided excellent service to church members.
12 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
13Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Wanda Fields upon the occasion of her
14retirement; does hereby recognize and herald the dedication she exhibited throughout her
15forty-one years of service; and does hereby extend best wishes for continued success in
16every endeavor of her retirement years.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
18to Wanda Fields.
