HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 3

A RESOLUTION
To commend Wanda Fields upon her retirement from Minden Presbyterian Church.
WHEREAS, after forty-one years of service to Minden Presbyterian Church in
Minden, Louisiana, Wanda Fields celebrates her retirement in 2016; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Fields has ably and consistently assisted seven pastors: Rev. Jack
Kennedy, Rev. Floyd Whatley, Rev. Lee Grisso, Rev. Bob Early, Rev. Don Brown,
Rev. Gary Miller, Rev. Phil McLarty, and Rev. Tony Angell; and
WHEREAS, during her employment at Minden Presbyterian Church, Ms. Fields
served as chief organizational officer, chief financial officer, publisher, and scheduler; she
also worked as a liaison to other churches and agencies within the Minden community and
state, and provided excellent service to church members.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Wanda Fields upon the occasion of her
retirement; does hereby recognize and herald the dedication she exhibited throughout her
forty-one years of service; and does hereby extend best wishes for continued success in
every endeavor of her retirement years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Wanda Fields.
