COMMENDATIONS: Commends the members of the Scotlandville Senior High School
Junior Class of 1982 upon the celebration of their class reunion

2To commend the members of the Scotlandville Senior High School Junior Class of 1982
3 upon the celebration of their class reunion.
4 WHEREAS, in 1982, Scotlandville Senior High School was turned into a magnet
5school which meant that there would be no senior year for the junior class of 1982; and
6 WHEREAS, on July 8 through 10, 2016, the Scotlandville Senior High School Junior
7Class of 1982 will come together for a class birthday party, banquet, Sunday morning
8service, lunch, and family activities; and
9 WHEREAS, the Scotlandville Senior High School Junior Class of 1982 will reflect
10on fond memories and share photographs and stories of their personal experiences; and
11 WHEREAS, the members of the Scotlandville Senior High School Junior Class of
121982 recognize the privilege of attending Scotlandville Senior High School and receiving
13a quality education.
14 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
15Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the members of the Scotlandville Senior
16High School Junior Class of 1982 upon the celebration of their class reunion and does
17hereby wish them full measures of success and happiness in all of their future endeavors.
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
19to Sheila Gardener Clark.
