COMMENDATIONS: Commends and expresses appreciation to the Honorable Bryan
Adams for his outstanding legislative service and recognizes his contributions to his
district and the state
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend the Honorable Bryan Adams and to express enduring gratitude for his
3 outstanding contributions to Jefferson Parish and the state of Louisiana, particularly
4 during his tenure as a distinguished member of the Louisiana House of
5 Representatives.
6 WHEREAS, Bryan Adams is a notable public servant who has served with
7excellence as a state representative since taking office in 2012, during which time he has
8fully used every opportunity to serve the citizens of his district and the state in an honorable
9and dedicated manner; and
10 WHEREAS, Representative Adams graduated from River Oaks Academy High
11School; and

1 WHEREAS, Representative Adams has been a proud member of the Jefferson Parish
2Legislative Delegation and the Louisiana Republican Legislative Delegation; and
3 WHEREAS, Representative Adams' diligent committee service has included serving
4as vice chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, and he has served as a member
5of the House Committee on Administration of Criminal Justice, the House Committee on
6Judiciary, the House Committee on Transportation, Highways and Public Works, the House
7Select Committee on Homeland Security, and the Joint Committee on Homeland Security;
8and
9 WHEREAS, during his time in the House of Representatives, Representative Adams
10has worked on and supported many important pieces of legislation; and
11 WHEREAS, as he prepares to embark on the next exciting and productive chapter
12of his life, Representative Adams merits a sincere measure of commendation for his singular
13contributions and the exemplary strides he has taken as an exceptional member of the
14Louisiana House of Representatives.
15 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
16Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the Honorable Bryan Adams; does hereby
17extend honor and recognition to him for his outstanding accomplishments, particularly
18during his tenure as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, which has been
19marked by his uncompromising endeavor to improve the welfare of his constituents in
20Jefferson Parish and the citizens of the state of Louisiana; and does hereby pay tribute to him
21for the generous and effective way in which he has dedicated his intelligence and his energy
22to the service of his family and friends, his community, and the state.
23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
24to the Honorable Bryan Adams.
