Existing law provides licensing law for persons seeking a license to engage in life safety and
property protection services. New law retains existing law.
Existing law contains a statutory reference for the definition of "sex offense". New law
retains existing law, but changes the statutory reference from R.S. 15:541(14.1) to R.S.
15:541(24)(a) to reflect the current, correct statutory reference for the definition of "sex
offense".
Effective Aug. 1, 2016.
