Notwithstanding any provisions of law to the contrary, including the 2 provisions of the Capital Outlay Act, the following appropriation is hereby made out of the 3 interest earnings from the investment of general obligation bond or note proceeds in the 4 Comprehensive Capital Outlay Escrow Account: 5 EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT 6 01/107DIVISION OF ADMINISTRATION 7 (1652)Exterior Waterproofing at the State Capitol Building, 8 Planning and Construction 9 (East Baton Rouge) 10 Payable from Interest Earnings $5,000,000 11 Provided, however, that the scope of this appropriation is deemed to include repairs to the 12 State Capitol Building exterior and the appropriated funds from Interest Earnings are to be 13 used exclusively for those repairs. 14 Section 3.A. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, any 15 appropriations contained in Schedule 20-901 Sales Tax Dedications – Local Entities in Act 16 15 of the 2014 Regular Session of the Legislature payable to the Bayou Teche Museum in 17 the amount of $10,000 shall be hereby reappropriated to the Bayou Teche Museum and shall 18 be deemed a bona fide obligation through June 30, 2017, and all provisions of the 19 cooperative endeavor agreement executed between the Bayou Teche Museum and the 20 Department of Treasury, including but not limited to the reporting requirements, shall be 21 performed as agreed. 22 Section 3.B. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, any appropriation 23 contained in Schedule 20-901 Sales Tax Dedications - Local Entities in Act No. 15 of the 24 2014 Regular Session of the Legislature payable to the Jeanerette Museum in the amount of 25 $4,194.45 shall be deemed a bona fide obligation through June 30, 2017, and all provisions 26 of the cooperative endeavor agreement executed between the Jeanerette Museum and the 27 Department of the Treasury, including but not limited to the reporting requirements, shall 28 be performed as agreed. 29 Section 3.C. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, any appropriation 30 contained in Other Requirements Schedule 20-901 Sales Tax Dedications or Other 31 Requirements Schedule 20-945 State Aid to Local Governmental Entities, in Act 16 of the 32 2015 Regular Session of the Legislature and Act 56 of the 2015 Regular Session of the 33 Legislature which appropriation has a valid cooperative endeavor agreement on June 30, 34 2016, shall be deemed a bona fide obligation through December 31, 2016 and all other Page 13 of 14 HB NO. 1047 ENROLLED 1 provisions of the cooperative endeavor agreements, including but not limited to the reporting 2 requirements, shall be performed as agreed. 3 Section 4. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not 4 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature 5 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If 6 vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become 7 effective on the day following such approval.
