R.S. 47:463.4(B(6) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 7 ยง463.4. Present law authorizes the commissioner to issue an additional hang tag to a person with a mobility impairment if that person is dependent on both parents who are divorced and reside in separate households. Proposed law retains present law but authorizes the commissioner to issue an additional hang tag to a person with a mobility impairment who owns multiple vehicles if that person shows good cause for an additional hang tag.
