Abstract: Provides relative to the issuance of multiple hang tags for persons with mobility
impairments.
Present law authorizes the commissioner to issue an additional hang tag to a person with a
mobility impairment if that person is dependent on both parents who are divorced and reside
in separate households.
Proposed law retains present law but authorizes the commissioner to issue an additional hang
tag to a person with a mobility impairment who owns multiple vehicles if that person shows
good cause for an additional hang tag.
(Amends R.S. 47:463.4(B)(6))
