ACT 21 (HB 109) 2016 Regular Session Terry Brown
Prior law authorized the commissioner to issue an additional hang tag to a person with a
mobility impairment if that person was dependent on both parents who are divorced and
residing in separate households.
New law modifies prior law by authorizing the commissioner to issue up to three additional
hang tags on behalf of any person with a mobility impairment, instead of solely to mobility
impaired dependents of divorced parents residing in separate households.
Effective August 1, 2016.
