Proposed law retains present law but adds the current attorney general and retired attorney generals and certain assistant attorneys general to the list of those who can lawfully carry concealed weapons. Proposed law requires certain retired public officials to qualify annually in the use of firearms by the Peace Officer Standards and Training Council.
