Abstract: Authorizes an automobile expense allowance for the assessor in Lafayette Parish
not to exceed 15% of the assessor's salary to be paid from existing funds of the

Present law authorizes an automobile expense allowance for the assessor in Webster Parish.
The amount of the allowance is equal to 15% of the assessor's annual salary and shall be
payable out of existing funds of the assessor's office, provided the assessor maintains

Proposed law retains present law as it relates to the assessor in Webster Parish but adds

the amount of the expense allowance shall not exceed 15% of the assessor's annual salary
