1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 27:418(C), relative to the operation of a restaurant at a qualified
3 truck stop facility; to provide with respect to closing the operation of a restaurant
4 during certain legal holidays; to provide for applicability; and to provide for related
5 matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 27:418(C) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
8 ยง418. Leasing or subleasing restaurant and convenience stores at qualified truck
9 stops; holiday operation

11 C. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the owner or
12 lessor of a qualified truck stop facility, except for a qualified truck stop facility
13 located in Orleans Parish, may close the restaurant on the premises of the qualified
14 truck stop facility on Sundays or during a any other legal holiday as defined in R.S.
15 1:55(B)(1)(a).
