1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 38:2212(B)(3)(b), relative to the submission of documents to
3 Jefferson Parish as required by the Public Bid Law; to require all bidders bidding on
4 public works for Jefferson Parish to submit certain forms prior to the opening of
5 public bids; and to provide for related matters.
6 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published
7 as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of
8 Louisiana.
9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
10 Section 1. R.S. 38:2212(B)(3)(b) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as
11 follows:
12 §2212. Advertisement and letting to lowest responsible and responsive bidder;
13 public work; electronic bidding; participation in mentor-protégé program;

20 (b) Notwithstanding the provisions of this Paragraph, all bidders bidding on
21 public works for East Baton Rouge Parish or Jefferson Parish shall submit all bid
22 forms required by statute or by the Louisiana Administrative Code to the governing
