New law requires the State Bd. of Elementary and Secondary Education to grant an
educational leadership certificate indicating eligibility for employment as a supervisor,
director, or coordinator of special education for a public school system to a person who meets
specified criteria related to postsecondary educational attainment and work experience in his
area of certification.
Effective August 1, 2016.
