Abstract: Authorizes the 14th, 21st, and 32nd JDC to develop a reentry division of court.
Present law authorizes the 1st JDC, 11th JDC, 15th JDC, 19th JDC, 22nd JDC, 24th JDC, 25th JDC,
26th JDC, and the Criminal District Court for the parish of Orleans to create a reentry division which
would be responsible for developing a workforce development sentencing program with specific
qualifications and requirements.
Proposed law authorizes the 14th JDC, 21st JDC, and the 32nd JDC to establish a reentry division
of court.
