HB 384 Original	2016 Regular Session	Havard
Abstract: Adds criminal charges as possible penalty for misstatements or suppression of facts in
applications for alcoholic beverage permits.
Present law provides that the misstating or suppressing of facts in applications for an alcoholic
beverage permit may result in the denial, withholding, or suspending of the permit, but does not
provide the possibility of criminal charges.
Proposed law adds the filing of criminal charges in addition to the denial, withholding, or suspending
of an alcoholic beverage permit if an applicant misstates facts or suppresses facts in the application
process.
