R.S. 40:2136(D) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 8 ยง2136. Rules; regulations; minimum standards 9 * * * 10 D. Notwithstanding any provision of this Chapter to the contrary, no rule, 11 regulation, or minimum standard promulgated pursuant to this Section shall require 12 a staffing pattern for nonsurgical endoscopy procedures performed at an ambulatory 13 surgical center to exceed the staffing pattern for such procedures recommended by 14 the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
