1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 3:4215(B)(introductory paragraph), relative to exemptions
3 applicable to the inspection of meat; to remove the exemption from inspection
4 applicable to slaughtered animals; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 3:4215(B)(introductory paragraph) is hereby amended and reenacted
7 to read as follows:
8 ยง4215. Exemption; farmers, custom, retailers, restaurants, and similar retail type
9 establishments

11 B. The provisions of this Chapter requiring inspection of the slaughter of
12 animals and the preparation of carcasses, parts thereof, meat and meat food products
13 shall not apply when all of the following apply:
