APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment against
DOTD in the matter of "Jeffrey Fluman v. Ryan Day, Allstate Insurance Company,
State of Louisiana, DOTD"
1 AN ACT
2To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2016-
3 2017 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Jeffrey Fluman v.
4 Ryan Day, Allstate Insurance Company, State of Louisiana Department of
5 Transportation and Development"; and to provide for related matters.
6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. The sum of Ten Thousand and No/100 ($10,000.00) Dollars is hereby
8appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 to
9be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Jeffrey Fluman v. Ryan Day,
10Allstate Insurance Company, State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and
11Development", bearing Number 57-359, Division "B", on the docket of the Twenty-Fifth
12Judicial District Court, parish of Plaquemines, state of Louisiana.
13 Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2016; if vetoed by the governor
14and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,
152016, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later.
