Abstract: Provides requirements for the nonrenewal of licenses or contracts for private driver
instructor training schools or agencies, or any person providing driving courses, and offering
instruction as a driving school instructor if the party seeking renewal has engaged in
prohibited activity.
Proposed law provides that the Dept. of Public Safety and Corrections, public safety services, shall
not renew the license or contracts for private driver instructor training schools or agencies, or any
person providing driving courses, and offering instruction as a driving school instructor if the
department finds that the party seeking the renewal has engaged in prohibited activity as defined in
present law.
