Abstract: Requires parents of public school students to reimburse local school boards for all costs
incurred by the local board if the parent is found in violation of the domicile requirements
for school enrollment.
Proposed law requires a parent or legal guardian of a public school student to reimburse the city,
parish, or other local public school board for all court costs and other costs incurred by the local
board if the parent or legal guardian is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be in violation
of the domicile requirements for the enrollment of his child in public school.
