Abstract: Prohibits the withdrawal of water from Spring Bayou in Avoyelles Parish.
Present law authorizes the secretary of the Dept. of Natural Resources to enter into cooperative
endeavor agreements for the withdrawal of surface waters of the state.
Proposed law prohibits the withdrawal of water from Spring Bayou in Avoyelles Parish. Prohibits
the secretary from authorizing the withdrawal of water or entering into a cooperative endeavor
agreement for the withdrawal of water from Spring Bayou.
