Abstract: Authorizes permitted vehicles to travel the interstate highways at night.
Present law provides that vehicles that do not meet the standard measurements for regular operation
of vehicles may be permitted by the secretary of DOTD through issuance of a special permit.
Proposed law authorizes the issuance of a permit for that vehicle to travel the interstate highways
at night.
