[R.S. 1:13(B) and 24:177(E)] HB 718 Original 2016 Regular Session Hunter Abstract: Requires certain medical facilities to be equipped with operable backup generators. Proposed law requires facilities licensed pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter shall be equipped with an operable backup generator of sufficient size to support and maintain necessary life-sustaining medical equipment. Further requires annual verification by the Dept. of Health and Hospitals and a $5K fine for noncompliance.
