Appropriates from the state general fund for FY 2016-2017 the sum of $500,000 to pay the consent
judgment in "Theresa Melancon and Sheryl Dupre, Curatrix, as Representative of Theresa L.
Melancon, an Interdict v. State of La. through DOTD, et al.", bearing No. 210,863 on the docket of
the 9th JDC, parish of Rapides and $250,000 to the DHH Medicaid Program for reimbursement of
medical expenses.
Effective July 1, 2016.
