Abstract: Provides that every contract of the Dept. of Transportation and Development shall
require employees of the department to abide by the safety and environmental plan of a
contractor while on a job site.
Proposed law requires every contract of the Dept. of Transportation and Development to provide that
employees of the department shall abide by the safety and environmental plan of a contractor while
on a job site.
Proposed law provides that, notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, every contract of
the Dept. of Transportation and Development shall provide that the contractor shall not be liable for
injuries sustained by department employees while on a job site due to the employee's failure to abide
by the safety and environmental plan of a contractor.
