HLS 16RS-1284 ENGROSSED 2016 Regular Session HOUSE BILL NO. 913 BY REPRESENTATIVE CARPENTER AND SENATOR B ARROW CHILDREN/ABUSE: Adds to the membership of the Child Protection Representation Commission 1 AN ACT 2To enact Children's Code Article 581(A)(9), relative to the Child Protection Representation 3 Commission; to provide for the membership of the commission; to add the 4 chairwoman of the Louisiana Legislative Women's Caucus or her designee as a 5 commission member; and to provide for related matters. 6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 7 Section 1. Children's Code Article 581(A)(9) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 8 Art. 581. Child Protection Representation Commission; establishment; purpose and 9 functions 10 A. The Child Protection Representation Commission, referred to hereinafter 11 as the "commission", is hereby established for the purpose of reviewing the system 12 of representation of children and indigent parents in child protection cases as 13 provided in Chapters 5 and 6 of this Title.
