Abstract: Adds a member to the Child Protection Representation Commission.
Present law creates and provides for the membership of Child Protection Representation
Commission. Provides that the purpose of the commission is to review the system of representation
of children and indigent parents in child protection cases as provided in present law (Ch. 5 and 6 of
Title V of the La. Children's Code).
Proposed law retains present law and adds the chairwoman of the La. Legislative Women's Caucus
or her designee as a commission member.
