Abstract: Authorizes only resident producers to sell insurance policies issued by La. Citizens
Property Insurance Corporation.
Present law authorizes every producer licensed by the state to sell property and casualty insurance
to sell insurance polices issued by La. Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
Proposed law changes present law by authorizing only resident producers to sell insurance polices
issued by La. Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
