Abstract: Requires each public postsecondary education management board annually to report to
the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget specified information relative to all athletic
programs conducted under its jurisdiction.
Proposed law requires each public postsecondary education management board, not later than Feb.
first of each year, to submit to the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget information relative
to each athletic program conducted at an institution under its jurisdiction. Requires that such
information include the following:
(1) A description of the program, including the number of students participating in the program
and the number of coaches, assistant coaches, and other staff assigned to the program.
(2) The annual expenses of the program, including salaries and benefits of all coaches and other
staff, recruiting expenses, and operating expenses and means of finance for all expenses.
(3) The annual revenues of the program.
