functions.
Proposed law prohibits any house, official, committee, employee, or other entity or agent of the
legislative branch of state government from filling a vacant employment position in the legislative
branch of state government or creating a new employment position in the legislative branch of state
government.
Proposed law prohibits any court, judge, official, employee, or other entity or agent of the judicial
branch of state government from filling a vacant employment position in the judicial branch of state
government or creating a new employment position in the judicial branch of state government.
Proposed law provides that the provisions of proposed law shall be inapplicable, inoperative, and
of no effect after June 30, 2018.
