HLS 16RS-1977 ENGROSSED 2016 Regular Session HOUSE BILL NO. 960 BY REPRESENTATIVE ADAMS BUILDING CODES: Provides relative to requirements imposed on temporary housing 1 AN ACT 2To enact R.S. 40:1730.56(D), relative to restrictions imposed on temporary housing; to 3 require certain standards for temporary housing; to provide for exceptions; and to 4 provide for related matters. 5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 6 Section 1. R.S. 40:1730.56(D) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 7 ยง1730.56. Standards 8 * * * 9 D.(1) Any temporary housing, typically used for daily living purposes, that 10 is provided for temporary workers shall comply with the provisions of this Part. 11 (2) The provisions of this Subsection shall not apply to one- or two-family 12 dwellings, manufactured homes, or other commercial structures being lawfully used 13 to house temporary workers.
