HCR 119 Engrossed 2016 Regular Session Stokes
Creates the "Jefferson Parish and City of Kenner Port Study Group" to meet and to provide input to
the Port of New Orleans concerning the port's master plan as it relates to port development, facilities,
and activities in the city of Kenner and Jefferson Parish and to make recommendations to the
legislature regarding the establishment of port development, facilities, and activities in the city of
Kenner and other parts of Jefferson Parish.
Specifies that the Jefferson Parish and City of Kenner Port Study Group shall be composed of the
following:
(1) The two members of the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans who fill the
positions of "A" and "C" on such board.
(2) The president of the Port of New Orleans, or his designee.
(3) The president of Jefferson Parish, or his designee.
(4) The mayor of the city of Kenner, or his designee.
(5) The mayor of the city of Westwego, or his designee.
(6) The mayor of the city of Gretna, or his designee.
