ENROLLED 2016 Regular Session HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 101 BY REPRESENTATIVE DUSTIN MILLER A RESOLUTION To commend Jacqueline Marie Richard Johnson upon the occasion of her sixty-seventh birthday. WHEREAS, almost seven decades ago, the world was graced by the arrival of a beautiful baby girl on April 28, 1949, born to the union of George and Mable Richard, and the couple named their newborn Jacqueline Marie Richard; and WHEREAS, the journey of Jacqueline Marie on Earth has been fruitful; she married and bore four children of her own: Shaterral Johnson, who would become mayor of Grand Coteau, Saderia and Surlay Johnson, and Shameka Johnson, who sadly has departed to the great beyond; and WHEREAS, the heritage of Jacqueline Marie will continue in her grandchildren, Anasia, Lamar, Chad, Cappy, and Amorie; and WHEREAS, the members of the House of Representatives join the Richard and Johnson families in celebration of Jacqueline Marie Richard Johnson upon the happy occasion of her sixty-seventh birthday. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend and congratulate Jacqueline Marie Richard Johnson upon her sixty-seventh birthday; does hereby extend best wishes for continued good health and happiness; and does hereby express highest hopes for many more birthday celebrations in the years to come.
