COMMENDATIONS: Commends Addison Green upon being named an Outstanding
Young Citizen by the Crowley Chamber of Commerce
1 A RESOLUTION
2 To commend Addison Green upon being named an Outstanding Young Citizen by the
3 Crowley Chamber of Commerce.
4 WHEREAS, Addison Green is the daughter of Thomas and Katie Green; she is a
5 senior at Crowley High School, where she maintains a 4.0 GPA; she was named Student of
6 the Month, Hardest Working Student, and Crowley High School Student of the Year for
7 2016, and she received the Woodman of the World Award and the Daughters of the
8 American Revolution Award; and
9 WHEREAS, Addison serves as historian of the student council, secretary of the
10 National Honor Society, editor-in-chief of the Topper, and she is currently the senior class
11 representative; she is also a proud member of the ACT 23+ Club; and
12 WHEREAS, she was chosen to serve as president of the leadership team for the
13 youth group of First United Methodist Church; and
14 WHEREAS, she plans to attend Louisiana State University Eunice to receive an
15 associate degree in elementary education and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to
16 receive a bachelor's degree; and
17 WHEREAS, Addison Green is an exemplary young citizen, and it is appropriate to
18 commend her on her prestigious accomplishments as the Crowley Chamber of Commerce
19 celebrates her as an Outstanding Young Citizen.
20 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
21 Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Addison Green upon being named an

1 Outstanding Young Citizen by the Crowley Chamber of Commerce and does hereby extend
2 to her enduring appreciation for the tremendous pride and honor that she brings to her family
3 and friends, school and community, and the state of Louisiana.
4 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Addison Green.
