COMMENDATIONS:  Commends Kevin Lawrence Mills, II, for his courage,
determination, and perfect school attendance
1	A RESOLUTION
2To commend Kevin Lawrence Mills, II, for his courage, determination, and perfect school
3 attendance.
4 WHEREAS, Kevin Lawrence Mills, II, the son of Kevin L. Mills and Janette Adger-
5Mills, was born on September 5, 1998; and
6 WHEREAS, Kevin has overcome many obstacles throughout his life; by the age of
7three, he had visited several doctors, and his family was told that he would not likely be able
8to speak; and
9 WHEREAS, he underwent speech therapy, and he began to speak short sentences by
10the age of five; and
11 WHEREAS, Kevin has not ever missed a day of school, since preschool, and he is
12a recent graduate of C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport; and
13 WHEREAS, Kevin's courage, determination, and perfect school attendance merit a
14special measure of commendation; he continues to inspire his family and all who know and
15love him to accomplish their dreams.
16 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
17Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Kevin Lawrence Mills, II, for his courage,
18determination, and perfect school attendance and does hereby wish him full measures of
19success and happiness in all of his future endeavors.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
21to Kevin Lawrence Mills, II.
